Who is Cardiartist, what is the purpose behind the mask, and who is the face under the mask?
Cardiartist is the courgeous persona within us, pre and post surgery. A persona that is given birth to help us " put on a brave face ". Unlike a superhero, Cardiartist is far from perfect because like myself and others with chd, the one thing that we have perfected is courage. Ultimately becoming a, "heart warrior". But that's a story for another collection.
