2026 Creative Heart Designs Charity Fundraiser Artist Invite

Hello Fellow Artist,

I hope you're doing well! I’m excited to officially invite you to participate in the 4th Annual Creative Heart Designs Charity Fundraiser, taking place on Saturday, February 7th, 2026, during CHD Awareness Week. This event proudly supports the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA), a nonprofit dedicated to improving and extending the lives of people born with congenital heart disease.

As the Cardiartist, my mission continues to be raising awareness and empowering those affected by CHD through art, advocacy, and community. I’d be honored if you would join this year’s lineup.

How It Works

  • You’ll create an original piece on a wooden Cardiartist heart-shaped canvas (provided by me).

  • Please keep the same box it arrives in — you’ll reuse it to ship the piece either to me or directly to the buyer.

  • Your artwork will be showcased on my Instagram @Cardiartist and co-hosted by Alex (@PlayfulGorilla) during our live auction on February 7th, 2026 at 6 PM EST.

  • Artists are strongly encouraged to join the Instagram Live, as presence and engagement significantly increase the visibility and success of each piece. Over the past three years, every single piece has sold thanks to artist participation and promotion. Lets keep the momentum going!

Pricing & Proceeds

  • You may choose any starting price no lower than $100.

  • Proceeds are split 70/30 (70% to ACHA / 30% to you), or you may choose to donate 100% of the proceeds.

  • Artist payments (if choosing the 30% option) will be issued via PayPal, which is required for transferring funds to the charity. A PayPal field will be included in the registration form.

Artwork Deadlines

  • PNG of your final artwork due January 31st, 2026.
If you cannot create a PNG, please send it on a white background and I’ll handle the conversion.

  • If you cannot appear on the live, you must ship your artwork to me so I can present it for you.
I must receive it no later than February 5th, 2026. (Shipping cost is your responsibility.)

  • If your piece sells, the buyer pays for shipping. I will email you a prepaid label after the show.

If Your Piece Doesn’t Sell During the Live Show

  • It will be listed on the Cardiartist website auction page throughout February for continued promotion.

  • After February, it will remain available for purchase on the website.

  • The 70/30 split will remain in place unless you choose to donate 100%.

Creative Guidelines

You have full creative freedom — paint, sculpt, collage, mixed media — as long as:

  • The piece fits in the original box

  • It does not exceed reasonable weight limits

  • It does not include profanity (children and heart families participate in this event)

Promotion Matters

  • I will fully reveal and promote your piece starting February 1st, 2026.

  • Artists should share sneak peeks, progress shots, and promote their participation leading up to the show.
Consistent promotion significantly increases auction success — and historically, every piece has sold.

  • The charity (ACHA), myself, my co-host, and members of the heart community will also help promote.

I truly believe your art will inspire, uplift, and make a meaningful impact on the heart community.
Please let me know if you would like to join the 2026 lineup — I would be honored to have you.

With gratitude,
Danny (The Cardiartist)

Hello Fellow Artist,

I hope you're doing well! I'm excited to invite you to participate in the 3rd annual Creative Heart Designs fundraiser this February, benefiting the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA). As the Cardiartist, my mission is to empower those affected by CHD through art and advocacy.

Here’s the plan:

  • You'll create an original piece on a wooden Cardiartist heart-shaped canvas (provided by me).
  • Keep the same box I am sending it to you in, you will use this same packaging to mail to me or to buyer.
  • Your art will be showcased on my Instagram (@Cardiartist) and co-hosted by Alex (@PlayfulGorilla) on Saturday, February 8th, 2024, at 6 PM during CHD Awareness Week.
  • Artists are strongly encouraged to join the Instagram Live during the auction, as artist presence significantly increases the chances of their piece selling. Over the past two years, every single piece has sold thanks to artist participation and promotions.
  • You can set your starting price at anything you choose, but no less than $100. Keep in mind, this show is promoted as a charity fundraiser where everyone wins, giving both the public and your followers the opportunity to start bidding at an accessible price.
  • Proceeds can be split 50/50 (artist/charity) or you can choose to donate 100% of the proceeds to the charity. Unsold pieces will remain available for auction on the Cardiartist website throughout February and beyond.
  • If you choose 50% earnings PayPal will be the form of payment as it is the most trusted source and only way to transfer funds to the charity. In the registration form provided we will require your PayPal information should you choose this option.
  • Shipping will be paid by the buyer for the piece to be mailed out to them, once the show is over I will email you a shipping label paid for by the buyer.
  • If you choose to not make an appearance and present your piece during the live, you will them mail out your art to me to present for you. I should receive no later than February 5th Shipping cost will be your responsibility.
  • Final artwork images sent to me no later than January 31st as a png (clear background).  If unable to create a png please contact me with sufficient time and send me your art on a white background and I will create png.

What happens if your piece doesn’t sell during the show?

  • It will be listed on an auction section of the Cardiartist website for continued promotion throughout February.
  • After February, the artwork will remain available for sale on my website.
  • The 50/50 split will remain in place unless you choose to donate 100% of the proceeds to the charity.

You have full creative freedom—paint, sculpt, or paste—as long as the piece fits in the original box, does not exceed reasonable weight limits for shipping, and avoids profanity (children may view/purchase these works).

Promotion Matters:
I will promote the full piece February 1st 2025. Please promote sneak peeks and work in progress shots prior to the show.

After the piece is fully promoted by me, It’s also the artist’s responsibility to heavily promote their canvas and the show. Consistent promotion greatly improves the chances of your piece selling. Thankfully, all pieces have successfully sold in the past.

The Charity ACHA and myself will promote alongside you. I am also a member and heart disease ambassador for AwareNow Mediayou may notice they will help us promote to their followers as well as you will encounter many other heart advocates and patients promote.

I’m confident your art will inspire and make a meaningful impact. Let me know if you're in!

With gratitude,

Danny (The Cardiartist)
